Smoky quartz point
Flat smoky quartz point with a beautiful lustre and a cloudy inner structure. The back of the crystal is also healed (fully crystallized). A plastic stand is included in the price, so the crystal can be displayed nicely upright — that's how it really comes into its own. The tip of this crystal has a very slight chip.

The Story of This Crystal
This crystal comes from a large, horizontal pocket in amphibolite rock, exposed by a melting ice field. At first, we were able to recover a few large points as well as some smaller smoky quartz crystals. Two years later, we returned to this pocket. In the meantime, erosion, winter ice, and water had slightly loosened up the rock and chlorite at the very back of the pocket, allowing us to recover a few more crystals — including this point.
